Any scene that features genevieve in survivor 47 but specifically this one #survivor #survivor47

What is your favorite TV scene of 2024?

@SurvivorHana_ Has she not been the target for the last few votes? And started the merge as the target?
I guess my overall response to your reply is...

English

I'm 100% serious when I say this
What's really the difference between these two as the game winds down, at this point? #Survivor47

English

@SurvivorSFT That’s always going to be relevant context when people are predicting a winner. Getting to the end w/ people you can beat in & of itself is a great move. She may have been blindsided along the way, but she’s also seemingly locked in loyalty from the 2 biggest goats. That’s huge!
English

@evswhr Alright alright let's not start assigning who's going to be with her in the Finals - we don't know who will be in the Finals.
English

So here’s a talking point…
Rachel has been awesome in many ways, BUT she’s also largely been totally out of control of the game.
Should she be as big of a slam dunk as we think she is? She gets blindsided *a lot*

@SurvivorSFT To be fair, even without her advantages, there’s a compelling case that the others would prioritize eliminating Sam & Gen at 6/5 OR Rachel would win another immunity. The advantages make predicting her win feel safer, but I don’t even think they’re 100% needed for her to win.
English

@SurvivorSFT Do you not realize who she’d be sitting next to though?
Has Sue or Teeny had more power? Definitely not. Do we have any evidence that there’s a shred of respect for Andy’s game? Not yet.
I just think the answer to “what has she done?” is quite easy to answer in that context.
English

@evswhr For example, I think Gabler is a great person to use for this discussion. I can see how he was not really in the line of fire & aligned with the right people to make vote-off decisions.
He wasn't Jesse, but he wasn't constantly out of the majority like Rachel.
English

@SurvivorSFT People assume Rachel is winning bc she’s sitting next to some combination of Sue, Teeny (both have done far less than her) or Andy (not respected). It’s pretty straightforward.
I’d personally love an Andy win, but it’s not hard to see why people think that’s unlikely.
English

@SurvivorSFT If you don’t think every winner has benefited from luck than you’re not watching Survivor closely.
And since when are new era winners the most powerful player of the season? Maaaybe 1/6 so far.
English

@melbrown00 I think it’s fair to say “strategically on par,” but for a variety of non-strategic reasons, S16’s moment is much more iconic overall ofc
English

The black widow brigade blindsiding Erik is in a glass case, secure and mounted. This doesn’t hit nearly the same, but was still strong.
jake @EvettsJake
Dare i say this episode was strategically on par with the black widow brigade convincing Erik to give up immunity #Survivor47
English

@SurvivorSFT Every winner has a ton of luck but that does not negate their good moves. There’s a reason why Rachel has been blindsided in votes but not voted out. Her threat level has also been talked about since the start of the merge, and as we know — perception is reality.
English

@evswhr Opting into the journey, FOR SURE, is a credit to her - but again the luck of winning the draw is a factor.
English

@sean_holihan @SurvivorSFT I think most are passionate about her winning not bc of the strength of her game, but bc of the likelihood of her making it to the end w/ people who have much lower odds of getting votes.
If Gen or Sam had her advantages, people obviously wouldnt be so confident of a Rachel win
English

@evswhr @SurvivorSFT Being gifted an advantage and winning 2 immunities, while useful and impressive, are not typically enough for people to be this passionate about a player winning
English

@SurvivorSFT Having the relationship w/ Sol such that he wanted to save her is an accomplishment, yes.
Getting that clue & idol under everyone’s nose without them noticing AND keeping it a secret is an accomplishment too.
Opting in to the journey and winning the challenge - also good play.
English

@evswhr Is being gifted stuff an accomplishment?
I'll give her credit for individual immunities of course, but that's not usually a top piece of criteria.
Being out of the loop more than 75% of the game is probably an issue, right?
