Moments like this 🥹: This is Duncan and his wife Janine. They saw the show at the @traversetheatre last night. They have been Greenpeace activists since 1987. Both were instrumental in the campaign to save Brent Spar and were arrested in Aberdeen for blocking a tug boat from leaving to drag the oil store out to sea to be dumped. They managed to block it for four days buying the activists time to get back on to the rig. Duncan said: ‘Thank you for sharing our story. Your show is amazing and captures the heart of the story, Greenpeace and the individuals that took part. Thank you.’ 🙏 #ToSaveTheSea #Musical #Scotland #Theatre #Greenpeace

The sheer volume of talent across the whole production of @SWtheatre's To Save the Sea is pretty wonderful. Scots protest theatre grafted to a Larson-like - sung through!! -show of heart, anger and hope... Magic stuff. And a bangin cast!

This is the second time within a year that the @TronTheatre has hosted a premiere in which a Tory PM has been one of the highlights. Not sure what to say there, other than @SWtheatre's To Save The Sea is a recognition of our right to protest and our right to art in equal measure
