@vxunderground Almost all of the people who succed have move failures than successes. There are two keys to it. Not giving up and learning from what happens (success or not).

One of these days remind me to show you my folder of shame.
I have probably a hundred or more failed malware ideas. When I have a malware idea I don't even label it correctly anymore. I have project names like "aaaaa", "aaaaa(1)", "dsthingie", "firewallstuff", "tmpproject".
It's mountains of failed code. I am the grand emperor of failure.

@vxunderground Could be worse, cyber squirrels chew through your ethernet cables.

@vxunderground Every kid and parent is different. I had two that were hell on wheels, and then one now that is almost cruise control. Never let anyone tell you how your experience should be judged in anything, its yours not theirs. You are awesome and we will be here.

Hello everyone,
I see your DMs and stuff. I'm sorry I haven't replied.
I've been experiencing a deep burn out. I have been struggling to juggle vx-underground, a 1 year old, and work. I under estimated the cognitive load a 1 year old would require, it is significantly more challenging than I initially anticipated.
I am behind on basically everything. I am struggling to keep my head above water. I don't possess the energy to do much.
Also, I've seen some people be like, "pffft, you THINK ONE KID IS HARD? Trying having N!".
Okay pal, it's not a contest. I get it, you're cool and badass and I'm soft blooded. I'm trying my best.
Anyway, sorry for all the slow stuff. I'll bounce back eventually, as I always have.
Love you

@jeff_gluck Unfortunately, I don't see MJ promoting NASCAR much while the lawsuit is still out the
English

1) I love when Wob talks a little NASCAR and 2) MJ’s new NBC role could certainly help give NASCAR a little love on NBA broadcasts…can’t hurt, right?
Rob Perez@WorldWideWob
NASCAR/NBA schedules have a ton of overlap. Since NBC now broadcasts both: id bet up to -500 these “special contributor” segments will serve as cross-promotions for 23XI Racing with him telling an old NBA story to the studio talent during them. About it. But it looks great at upfronts tho and gets the ad execs in attendance motivated to spend, so everyone wins.

@jeff_gluck Sounds like that rule allows team orders because it doesn't say the driver has to do what would be best for themselves, but rather what's best for the team. Seems like a huge miss/problem.
English

@hoot_dfs @jeff_gluck This is my question too. 100k and some suspensions aren't much compared to making the finial 4 so as long as Chevy/Toyota (where the direction really comes from) cover it the teams won't have any incentive to not do it again.
English

@jeff_gluck How much are teams losing in payouts due to these points?
English

@mattgross @jeff_gluck I think this was a change in officiating between races rather than a bias given the other drivers that got towed as well. Having said that, the unexplained inconsistency is driving me crazy 🤬
English

@jeff_gluck Ouch, I didn't think it was THAT bad. Disappointed in it, but that is rough

We are so sorry for your new nickname, @KyleLarsonRacin, but it's too funny not to share. 😂🤦♂️
English

@tazwake I think the issue may be a fear of liability or even just the cost of defending themselves even if they win. I'd agree that their business is very solid and other companies (even MS), have survived large bugs being auto update pushed. The scale of impact here is new though.
English

@medus4_cdc You are not alone in feeling like that. I and many other people (some even more successful than either of us) fight that feeling on a regular basis. I don't have any great advice you don't already know, but sometimes it helps to be reminded you aren't alone.
English

@KyleLarsonRacin About time, I don't understand why this wasn't instantaneous.
English

@BlinkElli3 @jeff_gluck 100% what is happening here and it really sucks. I think they should have given him approval for a potential waiver before the events ever started given how much benefit they were already getting. Dragging him along longer is at best just means, but realistically worse.
English

I honestly am not certain of the answer. He declared for Cup points, even if he's not eligible for the title. So I think yes? My understanding though is even if not, he'd get them retroactively *if* they decided to ultimately approve the waiver.
Stephen@Stephensays89
@jeff_gluck So Jeff, if Larson wins a stage today does he not get playoff points ?
