NDPS case detected on 26.03.2026 by EI & EB, Unit-II, Cuttack. At Tangi Toll Plaza , 84 kg of ganja was seized from a Tata Indigo CS. The estimated value of the contraband is ₹8.40 lakh. Two individuals were apprehended and subsequently remanded to judicial custody. @CMO_Odisha

Enforcement ଓ Special Drive ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଅପମିଶ୍ରିତ ମଦ ଓ ନିଶାଦ୍ରବ୍ୟର ଚୋରାଚାଲାଣ ରୋକିବାରେ ସଫଳତା ମିଳିଛି, ବିଗତ ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷରେ 7ଟି Special Drive ଦ୍ୱାରା ₹168.49 କୋଟି ରାଜସ୍ୱ ଆଦାୟ ହୋଇଛି। “ନିଶା ନୁହେଁ ଜୀବନ” ପରି ସଚେତନତାମୂଳକ ଅଭିଯାନ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଗ୍ରାମ ଠାରୁ ସହର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସକାରାତ୍ମକ ପ୍ରଭାବ ପ୍ରସାରିତ ହେଉଛି।

District Mobile Unit, Khordha detected an NDPS case with seizure of 170 bottles of cough syrup (17 litres). One motorcycle and one mobile phone were also seized. Three accused have been arrested, and ₹1,000 sale proceeds recovered. @CMO_Odisha @PrithivirajBJP @exciseodisha

Both the suppliers and the local receivers involved in the illegal narcotics trade have been apprehended.

On 11.02.2026, a joint raid was conducted by Excise at Dihapala, Pancham Reserve Forest under Daitari PS. During the operation, approximately 8,000 illegally cultivated opium plants spread over 4 acres of forest land were identified and destroyed on the spot. @CMO_Odisha

On 11.02.2026, IIC Nimapada Range detected a commercial quantity NDPS case, seizing 372 grams of heroin worth ₹37.20 lakh along with sale proceeds, and arrested one person. Strict enforcement against drug trafficking continues. @CMO_Odisha @PrithivirajBJP @exciseodisha

In a continued crackdown on narcotics, Puri Excise achieved two major successes under the NDPS Act. On 10.02.2026, OIC Pipili along with the Puri Excise team seized 178 grams of heroin (brown sugar) worth ₹17.80 lakh under Pipili PS limits and arrested one accused. @CMO_Odisha
