i know it's worth it, i know i can make a change. i *have* made a change in so many kids' lives & it's wonderful & rewarding to see, but -- i fear i'm too sick & too disabled to keep clinging onto this ideal, esp when i have no support at all. and that's just -- devastating.

i've felt that way several times over the last year, with my last two cohort of students (the final one, especially), but i'd still be willing to suffer & put in the work for the kids if only the administrative side wasn't so fucked. i feel so burnt out & disillusioned atp.
