In Chronicles of the Avatar, Korra actually apologizes to the next Avatar who we now know is likely Avatar Pavi for losing the connection to the past lives 😭 She leaves behind a letter for the next Avatar to read at the beginning of their journey, writing: “Although I know we can’t let our failures define us, I am sorry you’re not connected to me, to Aang, and to all the lives you’ve lived before. Such a smart way to get photorealistic graphics without melting your GPU. Basically a modern version of the trick that was used in the classic Mortal Kombat. I think we'll see this tech in more indie games soon.
