What's your favorite dead video game franchise?

Player agency is so important. Because most mechanics of Red Dead Redemption 2 are railroaded (missions are restrictive, open world is go here to collect this to craft that etc.) it feels like Disco Elysium has more "gameplay" even though it is 80% reading.

@exogenesisvn Plus to add on, that Mass Produced thing happens with video games of all genres, I just think it's case of it seemingly getting more attention with Visual Novels.
