Finland does not know what to do with Russians who fled to the country from mobilization - YLE According to the Finnish Immigration Service, 1,109 Russian citizens of conscription age are now seeking asylum in the country. Helsinki cannot decide by itself whether to grant or reject their applications, and is waiting for instructions on this matter from the European Union, reports the Finnish Broadcasting Company. YLE reports that Brussels does intend to develop recommendations for such cases, but it is not clear when exactly this will happen.
