This story remains one of those rare, wholesome reminders that sometimes the world still produces news that doesn’t require a headache to process. From fragile preemies in intensive care to confident five-year-olds heading to school, the Mali nonuplets have grown into a living symbol of resilience, wonder, and logistical complexity. And as they prepare to enter the classroom, one thing is certain, attendance sheets will never be the same again. Some families struggle with one toddler. Halima Cissé did nine at once and is still smiling. That, truly, is the real miracle.

Record-Breaking Mali Nonuplets Clock Five Years Five candles. Nine children. One mother who deserves a lifetime supply of applause and uninterrupted sleep. The world-famous Mali nonuplets, the record-holding siblings recognized by Guinness World Records have turned five, and they are now preparing for the next big adventure, school. Yes, nine of them. In one classroom. Somewhere, a future teacher just felt a mysterious shiver without knowing why. Born on May 4, 2021 in Morocco to Malian parents Halima Cissé and Abdelkader Arby, the five girls and four boys arrived at 30 weeks, each weighing so little. Doctors initially thought there were seven babies. Then they counted again, and again, and eventually gave up pretending this was a normal day at work. Now, the once-tiny miracles are lively, healthy, stylishly dressed in matching outfits, and very ready to turn any quiet home into a permanent playground. Their mother proudly holds up their world record certificate like a trophy that says, 'Yes, I did this. No, I don’t know how either.' According to Halima, the children are joyful, active, deeply bonded, and already showing distinct personalities, some energetic, some calm, all united by the shared mission of never letting the house experience silence again. They will celebrate quietly at home with their parents and big sister. Quietly, of course, being a flexible word when ten children live under one roof.

For many watching, this case is less about a blogger and more about the uneasy relationship between authority and criticism. It highlights how uncomfortable power can become when it meets public scrutiny in the age of smartphones. If anything, the trial may end up amplifying the very voice it sought to silence. Because history has shown repeatedly, the quickest way to make a post go viral is to drag it to court. In the end, the world is left with an oddly memorable image, a state flexing its muscles at a man with a login password.

Nigerian DSS Drags Justice Crack to Court, Which Has Got Netizens Reacting In a country where potholes survive longer than policies, the real national emergency, apparently, is a blogger with Wi-Fi and opinions. The Department of State Services (DSS) has marched blogger Justice Crack into court over posts the agency believes could incite the public against the Nigerian Army. Because, clearly, nothing threatens national security more than a man with a keyboard and a data subscription. According to the charge, his crime was not espionage, not sabotage, not cyber warfare, but commentary. Words. Sentences. Paragraphs. The sort of thing democracies are usually proud to tolerate or at least pretend to. What makes this episode particularly fascinating for a global audience is the sheer theatre of it all. In most countries, a blogger criticizing the military earns eye rolls, maybe a rebuttal, and occasionally a fact-check. In this case, it earns a courtroom appearance, as though he personally commandeered a tank from the barracks. The message is loud and clear, tanks may guard the borders, but tweets must be guarded even more carefully. It’s the kind of irony that writes itself. An institution built to project strength now appears deeply unsettled by social media commentary. One begins to wonder, is the Army battling insurgents, or battling hashtags? To outside observers, it looks like a government responding to public discourse the way one responds to a fire alarm with sirens, urgency, and a noticeable absence of humour.

What began as a routine training deployment has now turned into an urgent multinational search effort, with two US soldiers still unaccounted for and the ocean being treated as a possible focal point. As operations continue under the framework of the African Lion exercise, attention is now fixed on whether this will end as a rescue or another reminder of how quickly military drills can shift from controlled environments to unpredictable real-world emergencies.

Two Missing U.S Soldiers in Morocco Have Sparked Massive Concern Two US soldiers have gone missing during a training exercise in southern Morocco, with early reports suggesting they may have fallen into the ocean near a rugged cliffside training zone. The incident occurred late Saturday within the Cap Draa Training Area, prompting an immediate and wide-ranging search involving US, Moroccan, and allied forces. By Sunday evening, the operation had escalated into a full-scale rescue effort across land, sea, and air. Helicopters hovered over the coastline, naval vessels scanned the waters, while drones, divers, and mountain rescue teams combed the difficult terrain. Officials confirmed that the search was still active late into the night. A US defence official stated that the incident does not appear to be linked to terrorism, describing it instead as a likely accident. Initial assessments suggest the soldiers may have gone missing after a possible fall into the ocean, though details remain unconfirmed. The disappearance reportedly followed a routine training schedule under the African Lion exercise, one of the largest joint military drills on the continent, involving over 10,000 personnel from more than 20 countries. Reports from US media indicate the soldiers may have gone hiking after completing their training session, though this has not been independently verified. The alarm was raised after a unit headcount failed to account for them, triggering an overnight response that included aerial surveillance and search patrols. Moroccan armed forces have joined the operation, underscoring ongoing military cooperation between Rabat and Washington during the multinational exercise.

The killing of Mene Ogidi has now evolved beyond a single incident into a wider investigation involving multiple actors, a suspicious parcel chain, and questions around operational conduct. With ASP Nuhu Usman and his colleagues already dismissed and set for arraignment, attention now shifts to the missing driver and the deeper circumstances that led to a routine pickup turning into a fatal encounter. As the Nigeria Police Force attempts to contain the fallout, the case stands as another stark reminder that when procedure fails, the consequences rarely stay contained within the uniform.

Nigerian Police Parade Officers in Delta Killing That Has Everyone Asking Questions The Nigeria Police Force has publicly paraded ASP Nuhu Usman and four other officers linked to the killing of 28-year-old Mene Ogidi, in a case that has rapidly moved from routine policing to full-blown disciplinary and criminal proceedings. According to police account, Mene Ogidi had visited a park to collect a parcel reportedly sent by an unidentified individual. The package was later discovered to contain a firearm, triggering his arrest and interrogation. During questioning, ASP Nuhu Usman allegedly discharged his weapon, a moment that ended in the young man’s death. The incident has since led to the dismissal of the officers involved, with authorities confirming that they will now face prosecution for murder. While addressing the media, police spokesperson Anthony Placid stated that investigations are still ongoing, particularly into the logistics behind the parcel. He noted that the driver who transported the package from Yenagoa in Bayelsa State to Delta State is currently at large, adding another layer to an already troubling case. The parade of the officers marks a formal step in the police disciplinary process, signaling that internal accountability measures have been activated alongside criminal prosecution.
