@Fleechiru Honestly it's cope, and my taste is pretty uncommon among tftg, but I think womanhood, especially used as a device of fiction, is often this sort of gilded cage. Some want out, and some want in, but more people are going to be attracted to someone being forced into a cage.

I'm a woman, I was born a girl, and yet I was raised in a way many would consider male socialization if they heard it without knowing my sex.

Those who don't are treated in a way that neither men nor women outside of the trans experience do. To say a trans woman is societally treated as a man is incorrect.

the hill i will die on is that there's no valid control group for trans research. making cis people a control group doesn't work - they never experienced the same psychological, endocrinological, or societal effects.

*I don't mean because of the trans thing - progesterone causes hormonal depression if it's present in excess amounts
