I made the tough decision of ending it with my boyfriend 😔. The Falling Girl was, unfortunately, destined to be a solo creature. My roommate from LA is flying in to resume the solo party with me. I made a huge mistake with this one and paid for it for two years.

Playing with the Elektron Digitone. One of my favorite synths.. The character that the modulations do makes it sound much larger than it is

What's good for guitars, vocals and pretty much any other source applies to synths as well - doing a gentle and wide dip (e.g. -0.5dB at 4k with Q=0.5) can change the impression completely. Again, especially in the whole mix.

I made my first gear purchase in months. Specifically I bought the Yamaha MODX7. Why not the 6? Because they are tough to find in stock and maybe I’ll become a concert pianist 😂. I’m really excited to play with this thing, and not just for the CP piano sounds. @expectaz

@znmeb @FallingDj @moinlabs @SketchieRecords @BobWilliams_ Circuit is a really fun hands on machine.. great for jamming and having fun. Have the original and monostation here. Especially the transpose and scale functions are amazing

@FallingDj @moinlabs @SketchieRecords @BobWilliams_ I’m now reworking my workflow.. Recording audio from every synth straight into the Force.. Really great for sounddesign, especially with the modular stuff.. every time I hear something great I just record it and start playing with it more/add fx and stuff

@moinlabs @SketchieRecords @BobWilliams_ @expectaz Don’t get me wrong. I’d love to have them but they’re not priorities at the moment. I’m moving into my guesthouse for a year as I renovate my main house. That means downsizing temporarily. I’ve committed to taking just an Intellijel rack with drum modules, my Deluge and MODX.
