Today, I crave a husband. I just wanna be saying “I will ask my husband when he comes back from work.”

Ofcourse I am married, and Mr Olumide is an old man. Like my mum said, he wouldn’t suspect anything. So I decided to tell Mr Olumide that there was good news, and that I think I am pregnant… This is where it all came out, Mr Olumide bluntly told me that I can be pregnant but it’s not for him… and that he’s impotent……. That night I went back home, and my husband. He looked at me and said, “You look different… you are glowing.” I just smiled and said “Maybe it is just one of those days.” But this did not stop, Femi and I kept doing it for months. And now… I have missed my period. I am pregnant.

I just picked up my phone, stared at his name for a few seconds, and before I could overthink it, I typed “Hi.” Even after sending it, I just kept looking at my phone like… what did I just do? But something felt different, I liked the feeling, I missed talking to Femi.
