Through his truth-over-tradition exposition of the entire NT, MacArthur has left himself theologically homeless. He's too Calvinistic for the Dispensationalists, and he's too literal for the Covenantalists. Quite frankly, it's an honor to stand out in the rain with him.

Ha! Plugged the Mac in elsewhere in my unit, gave it some time, fired it up...and realized Logos was running. Now, anyone who knows Logos knows it has ALWAYS been a system and memory hog. Always. Forever. From the start. And Logos always has to...index. Which it did and...boom, killed the computer and ended the interview. Lesson learned! Always make sure to KILL LOGOS before doing anything important on your computer!

Due to a delayed flight I missed my connection and had to stay in a hotel last night in Boston. Took a taxi this morning to the airport. The driver, named Van, asked me where I was headed. I told him I was going to Pennsylvania to preach. “Oh,” he said, “What do you think of TD Jakes?” Me: “Well, he’s a false teacher that teaches a false gospel. But the real gospel is…” and I shared the true Gospel with him. Providence.

@DrJackHughes I was in the room the night that was preached. It was great! He’s right BTW. How can anyone ignore Zechariah with regard to Eschatology. He is also right that the Bible’s eschatology is clear. The pre-trib, pre-millennial view is the only one that uses a consistent hermeneutic

@TerriGreenUSA Andy’s authority is history. The Bible is infallible. “Preaching the Word…”. 2 Tim. 4:2 “All Scripture is God breathed…” 2 Tim. 3:16 “remember the words spoken beforehand by the holy prophets.” 2 Pet. 3:2. The words sometimes came before the events.

Listen as Andy Stanley says, “We do not take the New Testament documents seriously because they’re in the Bible, we take them seriously because of who wrote them.” He means Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and James. There’s no mention they are inspired by God, or infallible because of that reason.

@kevinmyoung What majorities or minorities of people think is irrelevant. What matters is the unchanging truth of Scripture. Majority opinion will never make anything more or less of a sin. The only opinion that matters is God and His position on this issue has never changed. It is sin.

The tipping point is here. The time when a MAJORITY of Evangelicals will support Gay Marriage AND no longer believe “Homosexuality” is always wrong is here! Pastors, NOW is the moment for you to admit what the Bible actually says on this… and lead your people to Affirming.
