@kangminlee Americans aren't allowed to use the term Oriental any more. Our liberal left says it's racist slang. However, we tend to call people from the Middle East 'Middle Eastern'. We don't call or consider Pakistanis to be 'Asian' at all.

As an Asian, I believe we should revive the usage of the term "Oriental" to distinguish East Asians from South Asians, Arabs, and other races in Asia Everyone knows we're extremely different, yet we're lumped together simply because we share the same continent

These are linked to your phone. Which is linked to your shopping habits. Everything you look at on your phone is logged. Which means they are able to figure out your economic status. The GPS status is shared. You are given a ranking. The prices will change based on your previous shopping patterns and their perception of your ability to pay. Different prices for different people in the store. In tandem with surge pricing during peak periods. They can tell if you are running short of time and will pay just to get home quickly. Welcome to the digital world.

Walmart is officially going full force and is rolling out digital price tags in all 4,600 US stores, with digital screens replacing paper price tags by the end of 2026. Every shelf. Every store. All controlled remotely from one central system. This gives Walmart the ability to change the price of any product at any moment. Based on demand, time of day, inventory levels, or whatever algorithm they choose. And the moment Walmart moves, every major retailer in the country will follow. Once everything turns digital, it's game over.
