i have never seen someone similar to tchouameni playing alongside rodri during his stint at man city. it's always been ilkays kdbs bernardos etc. closest is maybe kovacic. i highly doubt that it would be a good pivot

Rodri + Tchouaméni pivot would probably be my dream. Tchouaméni simply has developed some great B2B attributes at expense of passing quickness and rotations— which make Rodri the best possible partner. Could easily then go Bellingham + Arda ahead of them + two attackers.

it's because when they play together you basically defend with 2 men less and other 8 outfield players sacrifice themselves at our own half in sake of defending. yeah they should be burrying at least 4/7 of those big chances easily, need to be more clinical

Madrid standards are nuts cuz I thought both Mbappe and Vini were pretty good. Scoring goals and generating that many chances in a UCL tie is a job well done. at some point it becomes about locking down and not conceding
