In their current module of teaching my level 5 students were challenged to debate an aspect of the reformed EYFS. They decided to debate the for and against of; “In the EYFS, child-led learning is a more meaningful approach to learning than adult-led (AL) learning”. 1/6

In their recent childcare survey @CoramFamChild reported that 69% of the LA’s who responded identified problems with “recruitment and retaining staff” as a key factor of the decreasing sustainability of childcare in their area. A shocking statistic and concerning data headline.
