I’m not a Christian. But, whether you like it or not, the Pope represents the religion of 1.4 billion Catholics worldwide. And, in a general sense, the Pope as an institution has always been an advocate for peace around the world, whether we agree with their specific statements or not (as Muslims we certainly have our reservations) Pope Francis for example did a lot for Gaza, he spoke out openly against Israel many times, and he was overall a mostly respectable man. Anyway, Trump needs to put some respect on Pope Leo’s name. Catholics can’t keep allowing him to use their religion only when it benefits him, then thrashing the Pope on a random Monday evening during an ego trip.
