@guzdial @moenig @microblocksfun We've used makecode to control neopixel strips from both a micro:bit and the Adafruit circuit playground, and it looks like MicroBlocks can do the same!

I'm interested in controlling programmable LED strips, and I'd prefer not to use Arduino. I'd love to use MicroBlocks microblocks.fun. @moenig @microblocksfun, do you know if there are libraries for other boards to support that?

You know, I always liked mastodons. Mammoths too, of course. Nothing wrong with mammoths! But do you know what the difference is?

This whole month has been one continuous "if I had spent half as much time just doing the thing as freaking out about doing the thing, it would already be over." What helps you interrupt that?

@Omar4ur I bet! Cool. I'm fascinated by things that are (relatively) easy for people but hard for computers.

@eyeleanking It is kind of fun that I've been working on this seemingly simple problem (draw outlines) for a long time and there's so much depth & complexity to it!!

I finally got what I thought was the "holy grail" of outline rendering, automatically welding vertices based on angle thresholds in the geometry. It gives you crisp, stable outlines while still allowing you to edit it by hand. But it has a fatal flaw unfortunately ☠️
