@whugl6 I've said that West Ham will stay up, and I still believe that to be the case. Most fans wrote them off completely as early as November. I disagreed, and now here we are, sitting outside the relegation zone, having been almost 10 points adrift.

Considering the club will likely have to sell this summer, cashing in on a player who used to get booed on sight wouldn't be terrible business. Especially seeing as West Ham's best centre-back pairing doesn't even include him.

Nuno's decision-making under time pressure is subpar. Highlighted today by a poor plan B following Todibo's pre-match injury, and repeatedly in his in-game adjustments this season.

No surprises, he has been exceptional. Smart, season-defining business from West Ham.

Premier League survival is important for every club, but for West Ham, the timing makes it especially significant. The club is entering a new phase, with a group of UCL-level young players emerging in Fernandes, Summerville and Diouf. Alongside that sits an established European pedigree, led by Jarrod Bowen. Survival preserves that core and provides continuity. Relegation, by contrast, would disrupt a project only just beginning to take shape. If that group remains intact and is strengthened intelligently, there is a realistic pathway towards competing for European places as early as next season.

@eyesonWHU Weird. The whole team has underperformed until very recently so it's little surprise that a youngster settling into the country and league hasn't looked a world beater constantly. He's got plenty about him and there's absolutely no point moving him on, especially given the cull

@FPLHammer96 It’s not a question of technical quality, read my past posts about him. It’s mentality - he looked scared to pick up the ball off the CBs against L1/L2 opposition. He simply doesn’t want it enough.
