I think Labour should look at improving services for children and families from birth to 3. It would make sure that children got a good start in life. We could be sure families start to get access to support. Ensure…decent start… I just need a name.

I’ve had no sleep, but it’s been worth it. Very worried about the rise of the far right, and we’ve got a tremendous amount of work to do to build communities so that people don’t think that the answer lies with Reform. But for now just enjoy the fact that they’ve finally gone 😊

I refuse to believe that there's anything in this life that isn't better with a glass of white wine, a little sunshine, a half term holiday and the wonderful thought that there will be a change of government. I just hope there is meaningful change. If there isn't, there's wine.

Very excited to be heading to Dorchester today. I’m giving a keynote at this conference tomorrow then catching up with old friends.

If Ofsted really is interested in making sure this never happens again, inspections must be paused.

An inspection system shouldn't have this cost. It's time for change now. Change is long overdue. Change will come too late for too many. But change will benefit all those who devote their lives to childcare and education, and all the children they serve. 12/12 For Ruth

4/4 rapport about our lives & travels, my work, his as an engineer who built roads in Nigeria, a classical pianist,singer & competitor in the 1956 Olympics. Instead, we were seperated by more than just walls, fences & hedges, but by attitude. I regret this & miss him already. RIP
