They went from media blackout to wanting the entire world to see. Why is that?

‘They are going to be feeling a lot of pain. This is really throwing them.’ Former government minister Alan Duncan believes Gulf countries are likely ‘pleading with America and Israel to stop’ as they bear the brunt of Iran's retaliations.

One of the first times I saw structural antisemitism was when a friend made me aware that the media always noted when a *Jewish* businessman or politician did something wrong. But never said *Christian* businessman. I thought of this when the media said “Jewish ambulance” today

Israeli public support for the war with Iran has held remarkably steady despite nightly missile barrages and endless trips to bomb shelters and safe rooms: Channel 12 (pre-war) ~59%; IDI (Mar 2–3) 82% overall after start of war, 93% among Jewish Israelis; INSS mid–late March ~78–80% (overall Israelis). Stability, not erosion, defines public sentiment - even under extraordinary conditions.

Israel calls on UNICEF to speak out and unequivocally condemn the Iranian regime’s deliberate missile attacks on civilians, including children. Iran is launching ballistic missiles armed with illegal cluster munitions, spreading indiscriminate harm - and children are among the victims. So far, 18 children and infants have been wounded by Iranian missiles. A 5-year-old girl is in critical condition. A 10-year-old and a 12-year-old were severely injured. Three siblings, aged 13, 15, and 16 - were killed.

Israeli soldiers torture a one-year-old child in Gaza, including burning his leg with a cigarette and inserting a nail into his leg, according to a report, to pressure his father to make confessions trtworld.com/article/346872…

At this point, I think it's plausible that Democrats lose in 2028 because the establishment and the base are at odds with each other over what has become the key progressive litmus test: the question of America's special relationship to Israel. I really hope that's not the case, but it will be the case if the establishment doesn't start being responsive to rank-and-file Democrats on one of the defining questions of the current era.
