Today is #CryptoGivingTuesday which kicks off year end fundraising. With crypto at all time highs, we're expecting record giving in December and are already on track for a record year. For those new to giving appreciated assets (crypto, stock, property, etc.), there are two key things to know. 1. You can donate them and write off the full amount 2. You will not owe any capital gains taxes on the donated asset (and neither will the charity) That means you're able to give more, deduct more on your taxes, and the charity receives more.
