🚨⚪️⚫️ Juventus want to sign a top GK this summer and Alisson is seen as dream target.
Liverpool extended his contract until 2027 but talks with Alisson and Mamardasvhili’s camp will take place in the next weeks.
Alisson likes the idea of returning to Italy but respects #LFC and wants to assess his future with the club.
🚨 Arne Slot insists Liverpool do not need to sign experience this summer after losing both Robertson and Salah:
“Our model is completely clear. That is not to say we cannot make an exception because the club signed Wataru Endo and maybe Federico Chiesa was a little bit above the age we usually sign.
“I don’t think that if this club has been successful the way we are having, we are going to change our model completely after a season that has not been so great. Especially because in the 16 years they are here, they have not won the league 16 times.
“There were more seasons where results were not as expected but they have always kept the same model which I signed for, which Richard signed for and which we are all aligned for.”
@YazzLFC He can't hit that level with the squad we have. We need at least 6 Diaz, Mane, Fabinho and Milner-type workhorses around him to make up for his lack of physicality and energy. In this current squad where 90% of them can't run for more than 50mins, Wirtz will struggle.
Why are LFC fans so defensive about Wirtz?
I’m fully behind Florian Wirtz and I genuinely want him to succeed at Liverpool. But support doesn’t mean pretending everything’s been perfect.
Right now, he hasn’t hit the level we expected and it’s okay to say that.
When a player arrives with a £120m+ price tag, the standard is immediate impact. Match-defining moments. Authority on games. Consistency. We haven’t seen that yet.
He’s looked short of sharpness and rhythm. The physical intensity of the league has been an adjustment. Duels are tougher, space closes quicker, and the tempo is relentless. He’s a technical, intelligent footballer but this league demands explosiveness, stamina, and strength on top of talent.
There’s also the tactical side. Settling into a new system at Liverpool isn’t plug-and-play. Pressing triggers, positional rotations, chemistry with teammates all of it takes time. When those details aren’t fully synced, creative players can look quiet and ineffective.
Confidence matters too. When the goals and assists don’t come early, hesitation creeps in. Shots get rushed. Final balls get safer. The spark looks dimmer.
None of this means he’s a bad player. It means he’s not been at his best yet. We can support him and still be honest , He hasn’t reached the level his fee and reputation promised so far.
STANDARDS shouldn’t drop just because we like the player.
Keep the same energy. Support the badge.
Judge the performances.
@YazzLFC Your club have had a lot to contend with. People say Jota's death isn't an excuse. We can only say that if every club starts the season with a death right? As for Wirtz, he's young. You can see he's a quality player but perhaps not worth the price tag. Time will tell.
He is an exception because he is so versatile he can literally play anywhere on the pitch + he's an engine who never gets tired
But other players have to be used well, in the right position with the right instruction for it to work, but Szobo could be put anywhere on the pitch he wouldnt fold
Got to feel for Dominik Szoboszlai. Time and time again he’s delivered for #LFC this season. He keeps being let down by those around him.
A piece of stunning individual brilliance undermined by painfully familiar failings as Slot’s side stumble yet again.

@LouisTyrer18@mh3160@JamesPearceLFC you just proved you're dumb, Hughes and edward finalized the deal, the manager must approve the players he wants to work with before hughes and edward finalizes
@ezzy_bellz@mh3160@JamesPearceLFC he doesn’t buy the players, so it’s Hughes and Edwards fault. That we won’t be disagreeing on at all, I’m way more angry at the lack of recruitment in January than I am that the manager picked his current best choice RB at RB,
@LouisTyrer18@mh3160@JamesPearceLFC endo or calvin ramsay, and if you think the lad is too young Endo will do better, by the way Sterling started playing for us at 17,
@LouisTyrer18@mh3160@JamesPearceLFC well maybe if the manager hadn't played him as a defender then maybe he wouldn't have put bernado on for the first goal, it's not his position, Manager's fault period!!!
@mh3160@JamesPearceLFC the manager didn’t tell him to play everyone on for their first goal and didn’t tell Alisson to shit the bed either. it’s a team sport.
