What makes you think that? We took less than 300 to Gothenburg for Häcken which is literally across the water and was reasonably cheap to get to! Season before that (before COVID) we took 160 to Finland for RoPS, 67 to Georgia, 300 to Rijeka . Most folk will wait for the group matches if they are going to an away game.

Fotbal Club FCSB play their home matches at the Arena Națională, which has a capacity of over 55,000, with crowds of 40–50,000 attending last season’s European matches. In last season’s Europa League, they faced teams such as PAOK, Rangers, and Manchester United before eventually being knocked out in the round of 16 by Lyon. Tickets for the away end should not be an issue for Aberdeen fans, with Manchester United and West Ham recently receiving nearly 3,000 tickets each. Aberdeen will probably take around 200–300 fans.
