The IDF issues an unprecedented evacuation warning for a large section of Iran's capital Tehran ahead of Israeli strikes. "Dear citizens, for your safety, we ask you to immediately leave the mentioned area in District 3 of Tehran," says the IDF's Arabic-language spokesman Col. Avichay Adraee in a Persian message. #Bitcoin People are hastily posting about buying the dip, but they're overlooking these critical technical implications. Before starting to dive into the TA: These prices are cheap for BTC. We believe in the long-term growth of BTC. And if you're not a trader or easily pannicking, you can skip reading ;). Bitcoin's current correction has traders hastily rushing to "buy the dip," but historical patterns as well as the current TA suggest we might need to prepare for a pullback that could last a little longer before the next leg up. Let's analyze what the chart is telling us: 1. The 200-Day SMA Since the beginning of this bull market in 2023, Bitcoin has faced two significant corrections: First Correction: March 2023 - October 2023 Second Correction: March 2024 - October 2024 Both corrections shared a crucial characteristic: Bitcoin traded below its 200-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) for many weeks. This pattern appears to be repeating now in 2025. 2. Liquidity Zones Provide Strong Support Another thing worth noting is that Bitcoin consistently finds support at zones of high liquidity: In 2023, the support level was around $25,000 In 2024, support formed at approximately $50,000. In the current setup, the obvious support zone now appears to be $72,000-$74,000 3. Short-Term Technical Breakdown Looking at recent price action: Bitcoin has broken down below its upward trendline after two retests (marked by green arrows). We've already seen a bearish retest (marked by the red arrow). Price is currently trading in the low $80,000s While Bitcoin remains in a bull market, there are still a lot of traders with "unrealized gains" from the recent pump from $70,000 to $108,000. This suggests further correction may be necessary to flush out weak hands before the next significant move up. 4. Looking Forward I'm not claiming this scenario must play out exactly as described, and no one can predict with certainty where the bottom will be. However, we should be prepared for this corrective scenario given the historical patterns. Despite the potential for further downside in the near term, our year-end target remains unchanged at over $200,000. The current correction represents a healthy consolidation phase in what continues to be a strong secular bull market. HODL.
