@f_kwophy I disagree that a strike action was the only way they can get results. Doctors are trained to make difficult decisions that causes the least harm to patients.
I don't think the gravity of the suspension warrants a strike knowing very well the potential effects on patients

This is where I disagree with the with KATH doctors. We must weigh the pros and cons of every single actions.
In this instance, could they not have issued a public condemnation for the minister's decision to suspend the CEO and also shown solidarity with the CEO by backing the temporary interventions of management without resorting to strike?
I think there are ways to show solidarity and put pressure on political authority without unnecessary cost to patients
