@acoustics_rob @COMSOL_Inc Depends - for drivers with lowly damped cone material (metal) avoid breakup, e.g. by filtering or stiffening it so that breakup freq >20 kHz. A highly damped paper cone, however, can sound nice even when breakup occurs. Soft dome tweeters operate in the breakup regime by design.
