Self-effects describe communication effects on communicators themselves – a perspective that is very often neglected in media effects research, so I am all the more happy they found their way into the Encyclopedia!

No shit, Sherlock. Wer aber einen Verstand hat, der ein bisschen weiter als von der Tapete bis zu Wand reicht, wird verstehen, dass es für die Demokratie nicht so förderlich ist, wenn der übermächtige ÖRR private Medien plattmacht.

Wichtige Kritik zu "Jugend in Deutschland" - ergänzend aus Sicht der KoWi: Journalismus kann nur gewinnen, wenn Konfidenzintervalle bei solchen Umfragen mit berichtet werden. So gut wie alle Studien zeigen positive Effekte, aber kaum jemand machts...
