@faceofreality06 @Nero Why can't it just be a joke? Why does it have to be tagged as hate? And if it was about that, it would be transphobic. So get your phobias right. I bid you good day.

@JCRyle Honest faith in God is all that is required. The definition of faith requires a much longer answer.

@freethinkermc Im not sure if you saw my replies but in closing thank you for the dialogue. I hope the examples I provided convey why a reasonable person would be suspicious. We are both making assumptions but I skew towards pessimism due to my life experience dealing with government.

No, that's not what I'm saying at all. AIPAC explicitly supports the U.S. strikes on Iran. They have long advocated and lobbied for aggressive U.S. policies to counter Iran, viewing it as a shared threat to Israel and American interests, including through funding pro Israel lawmakers who back such measures. What I am saying is that AIPAC's influence correlates with some Democratic support for the strikes but doesn't dictate uniform party positions or executive decisions. Many AIPAC funded Democrats still oppose or criticize the action, and the strikes stem from Trump's independent assessment of threats, not lobby control.

Polls from every agency showing that Americans overwhelmingly oppose Trump and Netanyahu's war, and it's causing Trump's approval ratings to sink to record-low numbers. Even among self-identified MAGA Republicans, only 67% support it. Independents oppose it 11-71 (-60).

@freethinkermc I genuinely dont know what isnreally going on. But that is why I brought up these points there are not a small number of conflicting interests on the table that are I would classify as innapropriate unless they are made transparent. I spent 3 years in Iraq and it destroyed them

@freethinkermc How much does AIPAC contribute in campaign donations annually? I think they are one of largest if not the largest. How many donors are CEOs at goldman sachs? You think they dont have influence?

This is true if you have an extra $5000 a year to put into the account every year (on top of what you're saving for the kid's college), and the kid doesn't touch it until he turns 65. It also assumes a hefty annual investment return, and doesn't control for inflation.

Real Christians, who live a real life for Christ, don’t have to brag 24/7 about how holy they are. They stay silent and let their work and deeds speak for themselves. Beware or these false snakes. There’s so many of them right now.

@freethinkermc @hemingernestway @catturd2 @ggreenwald Democrats have unanimously opposed every Trump agenda with the exception of war with Iran. Every single democrat that broke ranks has a documented funding relationship with AIPAC. Interesting is that Rep Voushie no longer recieves AIPAC, describes this as an "Illegal Trump war"

via proxies. The strikes escalated after diplomacy collapsed, not because of any lobby "bloc." Additional context on the "war" framingThis isn't a full invasion or "boots on the ground" (polls show even lower support for that). It's targeted strikes after years of Iranian escalation. Critics note shifting administration explanations (imminent attack vs. preemption vs. regime change signals), but the nuclear red line has been consistent across U.S. policy for decades. en.wikipedia.org Blaming the nine points shifts responsibility from Iran's choices (uranium enrichment to near-weapons levels, rejecting deals, attacking shipping/U.S. assets) onto American domestic politics. Similar arguments were made about past actions — yet every administration has confronted Iran when it threatened U.S. interests. Pro-Israel advocacy influences Congress on aid, but it doesn't override presidential authority on strikes or U.S. intelligence assessments of existential risks like nuclear proliferation. The strikes reflect Trump's long-held view that a nuclear Iran is intolerable for American security — a position shared by many non-lobby actors. Attributing it primarily to the listed concerns overstates influence and understates Iran's agency and the independent U.S. calculus.

@freethinkermc @hemingernestway @catturd2 @ggreenwald 6. Intelligence manipulation/selective sharing 7. Disproportianate diplomatic cover 8. Dual loyalty concerns in government appointments 9. Christian zionist political bloc. You can feed this list into any AI and see real problems or at the least say this not normal US relations

@freethinkermc @hemingernestway @catturd2 @ggreenwald I dont think you are reading my responses. There is no evidence either way but here are the concerns. 1. Campaign Finance & electoral influence 2. Congressional Trips 3. FARA exemption 4. Suppression of Congressional Dissent 5. Military Aid decoupled from policy conditions.
