Hardly denial of medical fact when it's been well stated trans healthcare is important healthcare and a treatment of gender dysphoria. What makes you think other people should have a say in my personal life, despite not dealing with dysphoria themselves, please explain how that's a remotely fair system. Gender dysphoria isn't like something you "treat" it's a disorder that if left by itself will spiral into other disorders to become worse itself. It's hardly as minor as you paint it, unfortunately it can't just be brushed off.

being transgender is amazing and beautiful, transitioning is one of the greatest choices you can ever make and i hope more people realize that its not dangerous or evil, but liberating

@HollyDollyAlity @HodsonAnn @CantEverDie Idc if men use testosterone, it's their dominant hormone just like I wouldn't care if women took estrogen (both are dangerous to take if you don't need them either way) but They're not trying to pursue something impossible

"doesn't sound" - so we're just not using evidence yes, increased muscular mass on testosterone also isn't dangerous? Unless we're imagining like insane steroid junkies, because it's not that. In all likelihood it'll just slightly bulk out muscles, in most trans men I've seen that's the only result.

Yeah, and it doesn't change my position. Plenty of drugs aren't used "correctly" yet still get active and fine use within medical care. It's also the fact these labelling systems are prone to changing, depending on appealing to different boards. There's stuff that's completely off label and technically illegal within the UK, that's still openly used and sold by third parties, effectively any drugs you self inject are forbidden under the logic of NHS contracts. Yet injection methods are good for a lot of drugs, as opposed to useless patches or oral pills. Again, it's assuming you just trust people to understand their own health needs.

That's exactly what trans healthcare is. I go to a doctor, we sit down and chat, we go over the gender dysphoria. They realise this person is probably transgender, then they get me an appointment with a specialist, therapist and they make the assessment of what is causing me to be disordered, assuming it's dysphoria the only proven healthcare pathway is affirming care. Is it risky, obviously. It's healthy for me and plenty of other people. Cancer is an illness, gender dysphoria is a complicated psychological disorder that often ends in suicide if not treated. So what's better, some medicine and surgery or suicide.

I'll assume we're talking about testosterone now? Oily skin - that's literally just testosterone it's one of the big things. Increased muscular mass, oh my god, how terrible? Something that remotely isn't dangerous and men currently use testosterone for this exact thing. Why are you just sending me screenshots of things I already know, half of this stuff Is hardly risky. Maybe you'd like to tell me smoking is risky next, what about alcohol.

Half of these are related to testosterone, sex drive, sperm production, fatigue. This is not the body rejecting anything, it's the result of changing a hormone? Testosterone causes higher sex drive, shocking news huh? Equally half of these are hardly terrible things, that'll kill you dead like we're acting here? Who cares if somebody has a low libido, some trans women have insanely high ones too. Why are we acting like these things are dangerous when half of them are common enough anyway. Fatigue, how horrible? It's almost like people can be fatigued for a million different things.

Sure, and taking cancer treatment drugs makes you vomit blood, taking any number of pills causes unquestionable nasty impacts, hence why trans people moderate themselves, have blood tests regularly and generally go into it aware of the potential risks. That's medical care 101, you need heart surgery then you'll be damn well aware of its risks. People don't need coddling for choices relating to themselves.

@WindoLed @facesitter0_o @TinyBones13 Yes there are some like that irl too but it’s far from the majority in reality. Also just a US skill issue honestly. In EU people are more well-adjusted and usually act more civilized around other people.

@Jikuro_ It does affect women. It does affect everyone because you're changing language. We are now bleeders, birthing persons, chest feeders, did I forget one... you're erasing womanhood, even making it undefinable.

@HollyDollyAlity @HodsonAnn @CantEverDie Having a shattered leg vs believing ure the opposite gender. The difference here is, the leg is actually shattered and needs fixing. You're not actually the opposite gender, it's all in ur piss head lol

Yes, it's an outcome people seek because it helps them, just like people who take pain killers because there is constant pain, is it justified to say fuck them too? You personally don't understand having a shattered leg, and being forced to limp, guess that means people who do aren't deserving of help.

@facesitter0_o That is embarrassing. Sounds even like too crazy to be real, either way, you don’t notice the "normal" ones bc they in fact don’t talk or look like that, they blend in and you don’t notice.

Any surgery has risk, any drug has risk. Are you suggesting we don't give anybody medication because of the risk of potential side effects? Maybe we shouldn't eat meat too, it's bad for blood pressure? See how stupid this line of thinking sounds. A person can make informed choices about their own healthcare and lifestyle, it's not up to other people's mandate how somebody chooses to live, especially when they cause no harm. The risks of hormones are relatively minor at best, there reflective across multiple forms of health. Bottom surgery is a risky operation, but no more risky than any other major surgery. You're acting like it's undue risk when the actual data of trans healthcare backs its proven effectiveness massively, it lets people live their lives.
