@Dcaggs The original person to even do this was Alexander the Great in while arriving in Asia. 1000s of years ahead of Cortes, and when most self help/fitness influencers use this phrase, that's the event their referencing. Fake outrage while all the opposers reference the wrong event.

Fucking morons don’t even know why Cortes said this. Go read the art of war by Sun Tzu and realize that several military commanders did this over the course of history including Alexander the Great, Xiang Yu, and Ziyad.

The tone for SU's season was set in December when John Odierna shared a video about Hernán Cortés. Cortés gained notoriety because of his “burn the boats” tactic, preventing his troops from retreating. It’s how SU’s treating this season. No Plan B. Only a title will suffice ⬇️
