The phrase 'Too good to be true' actually comes from the design of Cardfight Vanguard.
The designers felt that the existence of a card game so good would result in the birth of an equally powerful evil in our world, so they beat reality to it and made the Overtrigger.

Sometimes you brick. It comes free with the random shuffling. You can get mana screwed in MTG, you can go oops-all-handtraps in ygo, completely miss your curve in optcg or whiff every search in digimon. But none of it will ever feel as bad as watching your opp hit overtrigger
