Should 100% only be for medical reasons and should be legislated as such. “Mental health” or societal reasons are not a medical reason in my eyes.

The only state with semi decent reporting is SA, but they link physical and mental health together. So you never actually know. In 2024 there were 48 in the 3rd trimester, only 1 was to save the life of the mother, 15 were a fetal anomaly and the balance was physical or mental health

Then legislation should reflect that. Unfortunately it doesn’t. Don’t you find it sad it’s actually a legislated option for a mother? Or you support at all costs because there is no published data, which is because it’s actually illegal to publish it. Again, another legislation problem.

Likewise. Your argument is prove it. It’s literally legislated that it can happen. There is no data because it’s illegal to report it. Find me the data that it doesn’t happen? You can’t for the same reason. The fact that it is legal should be enough for you to think it is not moral. But no, you want to see actual deaths before you change your mind.
