@PEStark1 Like you, it took me a long time to discover that strategy. I also put an arrow in front of the 'T' so students would roll with their thumb going forward.

Had a 🤦🏼‍♀️ moment yesterday and why I didn’t think of this sooner. I had previously outlined the holes for our K-1 Ss to help them. Yesterday decided to add the “T” by the thumb hole because it was still a struggle. Magically they were better at putting the correct fingers in.

@eatplants2move Great activity, thanks for the idea. I added in a read-a-loud of The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle at the beginning. After they gathered all the spots, i put hula hoops out and they gathered 2 per team to create wings to turn their caterpillar into a butterfly. We even

😬 I have a confession to make: 🇨🇦 I live in Nova Scotia now, and country music is a big thing here. 🙅🏻‍♂️ The problem is that I’ve never enjoyed country music. 🥃 That said, songs like “Tennessee Whiskey” can change my mind. 🎸 What are other country music songs I might like?

Thankful to @SHHS_JCS for the turf today.Our octoball court @Fairmont_JCS was a dust/mud bowl. Today we upgraded it massively.Great help from parents to get it moved from SHHS this morning to its new home. No more skinned fingers and filthy shoes.
