@nishantsupakar @gurjota No, guess epfo wud be equiv to 401k in US, where portion of paycheck is withheld and the employer provides a matching contribution which is invested. Social security paycheques however, come directly from federal govt for >66 yrs age.( on top of 401k )

@faiz_amd66 @gurjota Can you explain the 3rd point a bit? Is it equivalent to EPFO in India wherein a portion of your paycheck is withheld and invested? This corpus can then be withdrawn as annuities or a lump sum payout on retirement?
