The tweet by the president of America yesterday was too disgraceful to warrant a response. It seems by today his frustration has peaked and he is now threatening death to an entire civilisation in one night! The Israel US nexus and countries which support them and their ideology of hegemony and hate, has brought the world to this dangerous and inhuman pass, where an open call to genocide of an entire nation is made with total impunity and disregard for human principles and law. Silence in the face of these threats is nothing short of complicity. The global community must act now to halt this madness and push for an immediate end to this war of Israeli US aggression on Iran.

This here 👇 is the face of a hypocrite and the epitome of hypocrisy. Not so long ago, this spineless and most obnoxious person went to praise and praise Donald Trump in front of the whole world and so much so he almost bowed down to that man at an international summit in Egypt, Sharm el-Sheikh in 2025) Today in 2026 he conveniently finds the audacity to convey his unwavering solidarity. A curse of another league to the humanity. “You are a Man of Peace and i Salute you” were your exact words @CMShehbaz
Shehbaz Sharif@CMShehbaz

Spoke with my dear brother, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman,Crown Prince & Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and conveyed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Condemned today’s attack on the Al Jubeil oil facility. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our Saudi brothers and sisters. Appreciated the Kingdom’s restraint under the wise and sagacious leadership of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to advancing peace efforts for de-escalation in the region.

Doomsday in the Skies: A World One Misstep Away from Catastrophe. The recent sighting of the US “Doomsday Plane” The E-4B Nightwatch near a nuclear command center is not routine; it is a warning. A stark reminder that the machinery of annihilation is not history, but a present and ready reality. We have stood on this edge before from the Cold War to the Cuban Missile Crisis ; where ego, miscalculation and power games nearly erased humanity. That shadow now returns, darker & more volatile. An aircraft built to command through nuclear devastation does not signal strength; it exposes how close we are to ruin. What makes this moment more dangerous is the normalization of reckless rhetoric and impulsive leadership. The world cannot afford the consequences of political theatrics and escalation; particularly from people like Donald Trump, where provocation often outweighs responsibility. This is not strategy, it is calculated madness. As Albert Einstein warned, “I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.” We are at a fragile crossroads. The “Doomsday Plane” is not just in the sky, it is a siren. If wisdom fails, it will not be nations that fall but civilization itself.

This is a formal and deeply concerning complaint regarding an illegal construction being carried out in broad daylight in and around Lal Bazar in Zadibal area. It is both shocking and unacceptable that such blatant activity is taking place without any visible restraint or intervention. One is compelled to ask; who has permitted this and under what authority is this being allowed? Have the laws governing @jklcma suddenly changed, or are they being applied selectively? I have personally documented the entire situation, including live photographs and videos of the site while construction is actively underway. Furthermore, i have gathered complete details of the property owner as well as the contractor involved. These will be formally submitted to the concerned authorities tomorrow morning. In addition, i am initiating an RTI to seek full disclosure of any permissions, approvals or clearances issued in this matter. Parallelly, a formal legal complaint is being filed in the offices of the Hon’ble Chief Minister and the Lieutenant Governor. This is not a minor lapse, it is a brazen and deliberate violation of established laws and regulations. As a Social Activist with zero tolerance for such misconduct, and as a responsible citizen, i will pursue this matter relentlessly and ensure accountability is fixed. Silence or inaction from the authorities will only deepen public distrust. Immediate action is expected.

The Hon’ble Mantri Shreeman @dpradhanbjp should visit the city of Ujain; Home of Mahakaleshwar. The use indian Standard Time - IST (UTC +5:30) because they are educated and share enough to understand that there no such thing officially as “Mahakal Standard Time” unless the Scientific Coomunity comes up with something custom made for the @EduMinOfIndia Yes! Life runs according to God’s will and only God controls time but this urge Padhan Ji is feeling, is a whole new level of stupidity.

When Weather Turns Hostile; Wisdom Must Prevail: Safeguard Our Youngest Minds. The capricious temper of the Valley’s weather tomorrow warrants a measure of prudence over routine. I earnestly beseech the Hon’ble Education Minister @sakinaitoo Ji and the @CM_JnK to consider the closure of schools for tomorrow particularly for lower primary and primary students whose safety remains paramount. Precedents stand in quiet testimony be it past instances of inclement snowfall or abrupt cold waves or non stop rain, where timely school closures averted undue hardship and safeguarded young lives. Such foresight exercised before, was both humane and judicious. In moments where nature asserts its unpredictability, governance must respond with compassion and discernment. A day’s pause in academics is but a small concession for the well-being of our children, yet a profoundly responsible one. @OmarAbdullah @nasirsogami

Distant Wars, Local Wounds: Kashmir’s Heritage Industries Buckle Under West Asia’s Endless Conflict The unrelenting turbulence in West Asia shows no credible signs of abatement and its ripples are now being felt far beyond the immediate theatre of conflict, reaching even the fragile economic ecosystem of Kashmir. What may appear as a distant geopolitical crisis is in reality; tightening its grip on local livelihoods, particularly within the textile, ceramic and glass industries that form the cultural and commercial backbone of the region. Escalating uncertainties have disrupted supply chains, inflated input costs and constricted export avenues. Kashmiri artisans and manufacturers, already navigating structural limitations now find themselves squeezed between rising raw material prices and shrinking market access. The famed handlooms, the intricate ceramics and the delicate glasswork that once symbolized resilience are today under palpable stress. This is not merely an economic concern; it is a question of sustaining heritage, employment and dignity. If the current trajectory persists, the consequences could extend beyond balance sheets into the social fabric of the Valley. There is an urgent need for strategic cushioning policy intervention, market diversification and institutional support to shield these vulnerable sectors from a crisis they did not create, yet are compelled to endure. In an interconnected world, distant wars cast long shadows. Kashmir; once again, stands at the receiving end of forces beyond its control. Credit must also be accorded to @Ieshan_W for bringing forth a timely, insightful and deeply meaningful account of this unfolding reality, shedding light on an issue that demands urgent attention.

Mohra Power Project: The Forgotten Spark That Once Lit Kashmir’s Future. The Mohra Power Project, set along the Jhelum near Baramulla, reflects an early moment when Kashmir began embracing modern infrastructure. Built in 1905 during the reign of Maharaja Pratap Singh, it was among the first hydroelectric plants in the region bringing electricity to Srinagar at a time when such advancements were rare and transformative. Its journey however; was cut short during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947–48 when the station was damaged, leaving a lasting mark on the region’s development. Despite this, Mohra remains significant, it laid the foundation for future hydroelectric projects and demonstrated the potential of harnessing Kashmir’s rivers for energy. Today, even in its silence; the project stands as a reminder of vision, disruption and the early steps toward progress in the valley. Any move by the government to revive and reopen this historic power station would be a welcome step, blending heritage with renewed purpose.

Why didn’t you respect the culture when you had a full fledged and not so weak Government from 2014 - 2018 in the erstwhile State of Jammu & Kashmir? Was it not a Muslim Majority State then @ZuhaibYousf Everything can not be politics of convenience; at times you need to grow a spine and stop being a coward. Half baked & Over Cooked protests which start and end within 50 meters can not justify any thing; so your sermons and lectures; please take them elsewhere 🙏
IANS@ians_india

Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir: PDP spokesperson Zuhaib Yousuf Mir says, "Tourism here has already been severely affected, and therefore it is essential to protect our cultural values. Last year as well, we saw people consuming alcohol in hotels, and incidents of assault were reported in several places. Keeping all this in mind, liquor should be completely banned here..."

Please tell this MLA Sahab that all over India there are airports with specific names like; Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Indira Gandhi International Airport, Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Kempegowda International Airport and for that matter our nearest one is Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport. However, its convenient and it’s easier for people and for day to day life when we associate it with the city like; Mumbai Airport, Delhi Airport, Chandigarh Airport, Bengaluru Airport and lastly Leh Airport. Now let @Agasyedmuntazir keep his hand on heart and tell us what does he call other airports as ? ? ? Please stop making no sense only for a relevance and being in some sort of a spotlight, you are a representative of people of Budgam and this kind of theatrics is a mockery and an insult for those who elected you with expectations. @AAI_Official @SrinagarAirport
Muntazir Mehdi@Agasyedmuntazir

Pl read the name as Sheikh Ul Alam (R.A) International Airport !!

Unbreakable, Unstoppable Unapologetic. The Relentless Rise of Ali Mohammad Sagar. There are moments in public life that rise above politics and this is one of them. It is truly heartening to witness @mla_khanyar Jinab Ali Mohammad Sagar Sahab regaining his strength and moving steadily towards better health. One can only pray that Allah (s.w.t) continues to bless him with vitality, resilience and an indomitable spirit. However, what inspires even more deeply is not just his recovery, it is his relentless commitment. A man who has been entrusted by the people as a Member of the Legislative Assembly over seven times and who has shouldered the responsibilities of a Cabinet Minister more frequently than most, stands today as a testament to endurance and unwavering resolve. Through storms, through criticism, through the weight of expectations, Sagar Sahab remains steadfast. Time and again; against all odds, he has chosen his people. Not once, not occasionally but consistently, deliberately and without hesitation. Critics will always find their narratives; detractors will always raise their voices but beyond the noise stands a legacy built on persistence, service and an unbreakable bond with the people. And for that alone; the man does not just deserve acknowledgment, he deserves a standing ovation.
