Rangers rooting interests this postseason: Rooting for LA, OTT, and MIN. Rangers need LA to win a round to upgrade their 2026 3rd to a 2nd and if they win two a 2028 4th from the Panarin trade. Rangers hold the CAR/DAL 2026 1st which ever is better from Miller trade.

If the #NYR hold 3rd overall post lottery, and McKenna/Stenberg go, Drury has to pick Chase Reid. High-end talent, 6'2, RHD, can skate and move the puck. Plus, Drury and his cronies have a book on him already. Grew up in the USA hockey system and is committed to MSU next year.

@JLazzy23 @bet365ca @DailyFaceoff This is ridiculous, they’re 3rd worst in the NHL with an aging core of losing players with no prospect pool or decent draft capital. They will rebuild whether they like it or not. Trade the pick for what? Another 2-3 years of losing in the second round and then rebuilding?

My top 5 for NYR 1. McKenna 2. Stenberg 3. Reid 4. Malhotra 5. Verhoeff I am a huge fan of all these players and obviously if they win the lottery 1 or 2 the decision comes easy but if they stay or move back the choice comes down to a RHD or Malhotra. Carels is a possibility
