Speaking as the person who brought the news of Tunde Onakoya’s historic achievement to Governor Dapo Abiodun’s attention immediately after he smashed the Guinness World Record, and as the person who facilitated their first call, and as someone who was there throughout the entire homecoming event at the governors office. Tunde’s Ambassadorial role does not come with any salary. He is not on Ogun State Government’s payroll. The recognition is more of an iconic one. Like Segun Odegbami, Tobi Amusan, Anthony Joshua, etc., are also ambassadors. I owe Tunde this. That’s why i am putting it out here.

America and Israel will blow up a school or a hospital without warning, while trying to kill terrorists.. Heavy civilian casualties. You people clapped. Iran will warn you before blowing up military targets embedded in civilian populations.. Lighter civilian casualties.. You people clapped. The Nigerian Airforce closed a market 5 YEARS AGO to ensure as little civilian casualties as possible, then bombed it to kill ISWAP terrorists who have done more harm to Nigeria than Hamas, Hezbolah and the IDF combined.. You people are complaining and crying..

🇮🇳 Factory workers in India are wearing head-mounted cameras so AI can watch exactly how humans do physical work. Every hand movement, every adjustment, every shortcut. The workers are training their own replacements in real time, on the job, getting paid to do it. The most honest description of this is also the most uncomfortable one. Source: longliveai on IG

After they k1lled some of our military men, they went to that same market to celebrate it. They have 5 gun trucks in that market. Tell me which civilian trader is using gun trucks to sell pepper and tomatoes or to sell yam. If as a civilian, you see terrorists and decide to mingle with them, it means you are gaining something from them and you should be treated like a terrorists too. The Governor of the state confirmed the market has been shutdown for monthsssss, so tell me why a civilian will still go there to trade. If some of you don't want insecurity to end in your region, say it and let the government withdraw all our soldiers there. Not everything is politics. Insecurity must end in Nigeria, enough is enough. Dear Nigerian soldiers, fire on. Patriotic Nigerians see your good works, we appreciate it and we pray for more strength for you.

THE BOY UNDER THE DESK I was that boy. Small-framed. Easy target. In the early 1980s, in a secondary school, bigger boys and seniors who should have known better, decided that my size was an invitation. I was tortured. I was maimed. I was made to crawl under a desk and hold myself in that fetal position for hours. Hours. Nobody called it bullying then. It had a different name - rite of passage. As though surviving cruelty was the qualification for manhood. I survived. I grew. I became. But what nobody tells you about survival is that; the boy under the desk never fully leaves. He sits quietly somewhere inside the man at this table. For years, I carried what happened to me in silence, and suffered bouts of depression because I couldn't tell no soul. Not even my parents. That silence was the real crime. Not just the silence of a frightened boy, but the silence of teachers who saw and looked away. The silence of peers who laughed and said nothing. The silence of a system that confused cruelty with character-building. The silence of a culture that said this is how boys become men. But here is where it gets concerning. The bully didn't disappear when school ended. He graduated. He entered our offices, institutions, and government houses. The boy who learned that size and fear were power, is still performing that lesson, in bigger arenas, and with higher stakes. This is why I am today calling for a dedicated national anti-bullying law that formally defines and recognizes bullying as a harm distinct from general misconduct, mandates every school to have a written anti-bullying policy, creates reporting obligations for school administrators, and establishes consequences for institutional cover-up or negligence. Regulation (under the supervision of the Ministry of Education) must also extend to teacher training institutions. Pre-service and in-service training should include child safeguarding, bullying identification, and intervention methods. A teacher who cannot recognise or respond to bullying is an institutional liability. I might have been that boy under the desk. But I refuse to be that adult that says nothing. Energy economist, Ken Ife, has criticised the World Bank’s recommendation urging Nigeria to deepen fuel importation and liberalise its downstream petroleum sector, describing the advice as “ill-timed” and inconsistent with existing laws. He made this known during a televised interview on Nigeria’s economic outlook, where he assessed the bank’s latest Nigeria Development Update. While acknowledging parts of the report as analytically sound, he argued that its stance on fuel imports contradicts Nigeria’s policy direction. nairametrics.com/2026/04/13/exp…

Farage has ensured any references to his buddy Victor Orban are erased from his X account. So, I thought it would be useful to share these just as a reminder of how close they were. ‘Orban is the future of Europe’ is my personal favourite!’

Imagine if Obama posted a picture of himself as Jesus (even as a Joke), our brethren (the holier-than-the-Pope ones) would have been screaming Antichrist and Blasphemy on a loop. But since it's the Jesus of Mar-a-lago doing it, then it must be a patriotic act ordained by God 😂😂

There is a video circulating on the internet that is difficult to watch. A woman sits on a pavement in Louisville, Kentucky. She is wearing a hospital gown. It is 36 degrees outside. Her belongings, everything she apparently owns, are in a plastic bag on the concrete beside her. Behind her, through the glass doors she has just been escorted through, the hospital hums along as normal. The security guards who brought her here have already gone back inside. She couldn’t afford her bill. This is not a scene from a developing nation or a history book. This is the United States of America. The country in which it happens has spent decades telling the rest of the world that it has the highest GDP on earth. Which is a bit like a restaurant proudly displaying its bill on the wall. Enormous number. Terrible meal. The lobster was frozen, the wine came from a box. Europe, by comparison, has spent the better part of a century building something rather different. The food, for a start, is extraordinary. Not in a showy way, but in the way that a simple lunch in Lyon or a glass of wine on a terrace in Lisbon reminds you that eating is one of the genuinely good things about being alive. The wine is the wine that the rest of the world has spent generations attempting to replicate, mostly without success. Roughly 35 percent of Europeans live with a chronic illness. In America, that number is 76 percent. The difference is not genetic. It is architectural. It is the slow accumulation of decent food, walkable cities, actual holidays, and a healthcare system that does not require you to crowdfund your own appendix. Europeans work fewer hours. They have more purchasing power on a smaller salary once you subtract the cost of health insurance, medical debt, and the private school their child needs because the local public one has a metal detector at the entrance. They live, on average, about ten years longer. Not ten years of decline and doctor visits, but ten years of being a person in the world. In the first quarter of 2025, the number of Americans leaving the United States doubled compared to the previous quarter. Europe was their top destination. Not for a sabbatical or a gap year. Permanently. These are not people who failed. These are people who did the maths. There is a man somewhere in America right now who has worked fifty-hour weeks for forty years, taken one week off when his employer permitted it, and will, statistically, be dead before he sees seventy. And there is another man, not very far away on a map but an entire civilisation removed in practice, sitting on a terrace in the afternoon sun with a glass of something cold and no particular place to be. He has had six weeks off every summer since 1987. He knows his neighbours by name. The first man’s country has the higher GDP. The first man’s country tops the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) index. The second man tops the Quality of Life Index (QLI). The better health. The longer life. The afternoon. MAGA America calls that losing. Ask anyone. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

ICYMI: The reign of Visa and Mastercard is coming to a quiet, brutal end in Europe. A new "Pay by Bank" button is taking over online checkouts, and it’s doing something far more dangerous than just processing payments, it’s dismantling American financial dominance. In the Netherlands, 72% of transactions already bypass U.S. card networks, moving money directly from bank to bank in seconds via "Wero" and SEPA Instant. No more hidden fees, no more U.S. middlemen. Is your credit card about to become a relic of the past? We will see.

🔥 Dancing minister goes viral! A victory dance by Zsolt Hegedűs has racked up over a million views overnight. He’s one of the key figures in Péter Magyar’s team and a leading candidate for Hungary’s health minister. A top orthopedic surgeon, he spent years working in leading UK clinics before returning to Hungary in 2015 to reform the healthcare system. He is now developing Tisza’s healthcare reform plan. A future minister who can both operate and light up the dance floor. Seen the video yet — what do you think?

Putin, Trump, and JD Vance did not back these people. The hundreds of thousands now flooding the streets of Budapest, the Hungarians who wanted a free press, functioning courts, and a government that does not take its instructions from Moscow. That lot. Washington and the Kremlin looked at them and picked the other guy. They picked Orbán. They threw the full economic weight of the United States behind him. They offered moral cover from Mar-a-Lago and the Kremlin simultaneously, which is quite the combination if you think about it. He lost anyway. Brutally. People in Russia and the United States are watching those crowds tonight. And what they are seeing is not complicated: there is a better life available. You just have to vote for it. These wicked terrorists will commit their wicked acts, we'll shout, the government is not doing anything, the government is pampering the terrorists then the moment our military men starts winning over them, then some unpatriotic lots will come up with stories ...claiming they are no longer terrorists, they are fishermen, they are market women. ...lies upon lies. It's good that the military has released visuals on the bombing of terrorists in Ajilil Market in Borno. They are the BokoHaram fighters who attacked Benisheikh where a Brigade General was killed with some soldiers. This is the said market...zoom it, and you'll see those terrorists and their gun trucks before they were bombed. Stop discouraging our troops from carrying out their duties. Stop k1lling their morale.

🚨 @Paddystinian just dropped the ultimate truth bomb: “The Dollar Is Dead” — a full-blown animated rap soundtrack that’s more real than any cable news segment. Burning dollar bills, gold bars stacking higher than skyscrapers, the petrodollar going up in flames, BRICS nations locking in the new world order. This Lego masterpiece breaks down exactly how the world’s reserve currency is getting dethroned, and it does it with fire beats and zero fluff. 🔥🔥 The shift is happening. The game is changing. And this creative genius just made it impossible to ignore. #DollarIsDead #BRICS #DeDollarization #DollarCollapse #Petrodollar #GoldStandard #EconomicReset #CurrencyWar #Finance #Gold #LegoTruth #Economy
