No! DST wakes us an hour earlier than Standard Time. It deprives sleep, increases deaths. Permanent DST would put most states’ sunrise past 8am (when most work/school begins) for 3+ months, past 8:45am for 1+ weeks. It costs lives when tried. @WriterRalph17 A shot in the dark - I have been trying for decades to confirm if you wrote a short story in the 1990s called "The Eye" about a boy demonstrating how to make a peanut butter sandwich who takes a bite and is unable to swallow it. I can't find it anywhere!
