When you keep citing blog posts and websites that have no academic credentials, it's hard to take your point seriously.
Even the examples he provides offer no tangible differences in meaning.
He argues that since the Quran contradicts the Bible, it must be wrong. This is circular logic and has no basis in argument.
Muslims believe that the Bible was corrupted, and the proof we have of that is as follows:
1. We don't know who wrote the Bible
2. Paul never even met Jesus and is credited for 25% of the Bible
3. There are some Gospels (like Thomas) that exist but are not canon. Who decided, and on what basis, what is canon and what is not?
4. The concept of the Trinity was created three centuries after Jesus was born.
5. We have no way of authenticating if any of th statements in the Bible were even said by Jesus.
These are all facts that you choose to ignore.

@BattleCry_93 @jay134147 @SaajidLipham You're just refusing to do ANY research or understanding. They can see writing that has been erased and written over, when they expose the manuscripts to X rays. These writings underneath contain textual variants that include word deltetions.

The Quranic text was standardized very soon after the Prophet died in 632 AD. The Sanaa manuscript is dated to 671 AD.

It doesn't even contain vowel markings, and it is only a few surahs long, not even close to 114 surahs. Additionally, we have the Sanaa manuscripts which show that the text was erased and changed later. Proof of corruption

Tawhid is the first pillar of Islam. It is the oneness of God.
And what standard are you referring to? The earliest full manuscript of the New Testament is carbon-dated to three centuries after Jesus was born, specifically to the period between 325 and 350 AD. A quarter of the Bible is written by Paul, who never even met Jesus.
In contrast, the earliest fragment of the Quran is the Birmingham Manuscript, which is carbon-dated to the Prophet's lifetime and is identical to the Quran today.
The first full Manuscript is the Sanaa Manuscript from 671 AD, which shows that the Quranic text was standardized very soon after the death of the Prophet in 632 AD.

The great Isaiah scroll should be proof enough that ancient texts can be preserved. Yet you want us to use one manuscript over the thousands we have.

And every manuscript prior to 400 AD is largely degraded and is bound to be missing significant parts. That's why we use THE MAJORITY. We don't base it on two manuscripts when we have thousands that corroborate.

@falseprofitmo @jay134147 @SaajidLipham From an academic standpoint, this isn't a controversial observation. The doctrine of the Trinity developed centuries after the New Testament texts were written. Specifically at the Council of Nicaea in 325.

All I'm saying is that just because they don't appear in SOME manuscripts, doesn't mean that they didn't happen or that the stories didn't originate the Apostles. That's why we use the MAJORITY of manuscripts to determine the contents.

I am QUITTING the debate space indefinitely. After a deep and sincere conversation with our revert brother @EnochIslam I have come to the realization that I have done more harm than good by trying to debate without a proper foundation in true Islamic knowledge. I ask Allah and the Muslim community to forgive me for what I have done in the past and to allow me to enter a new chapter of my life as a student of Islam instead of using Islam to my own will. I deeply regret taking debates with individuals who constantly disrespect Islam and I will steer far away from them. Truly, after speaking to our brother Enoch I have realized that the presence I have can be used for something greater and better than wasting time arguing with those who hate us. If I ever hurt you with my words, I sincerely ask for your forgiveness as I have made many mistakes in my life that I now seek to rectify before I meet my Lord on Judgement Day. The last 10 days of Ramadan spent in the Masjid was an invitation by my good friend and lawyer @HassanShibly who helped me in my journey back to Islam away from hedonism. I’m still learning, and I have no knowledge to speak on Islam in a public space, let alone in debates. So I will refrain from doing so until I finish my proper schooling recommended to me and I will continue to strive for Allah in private. My efforts will be focused on creating content for journalism, activism, and financial education. I hope that you continue this journey with me as I navigate this chaotic world as a human. I ask Allah to forgive me and forgive anyone who may have done wrong through my influence or actions, and I sincerely ask those who support me or know about me to make dua for me to become the best version of myself while I am alive. This is my only personal goal in life… to become the best version of myself so I can serve others around me in the best way possible. That’s it. May Allah accept my sincere repentance.
