I’m not sure if I’m the only one feeling this way, but it seems like there are certain government matters that are kept classified. Sometimes, the higher-ups make decisions and strategies without informing everyone, including the spokesperson, to maintain confidentiality and keep things under wraps. Take the recent arrest of Digong, for example—General Torre managed everything in a really discreet way to prevent Digong's team from preparing or plotting an escape. Sensitive issues like this are often handled in unique ways to ensure the greater good is served, like capturing an international fugitive, which is completely within the legal framework, even if it means using unconventional methods. Simply putting pressure on the spokesperson to reveal classified information won’t help the Filipino people. Instead, why not focus the scrutiny on the political figures in the Senate who assisted the fugitive in escaping? Or examine how they coordinated that staged Senate attack? That would definitely provide more valuable insights for journalists!
