First day of OCB at Chapin High School! I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with students and share information about the EPCC/UTEP Engineering Academy and our @EPCCNews Valle Verde AAMS Division.

Wow! What a fun Pi Day celebration! I had a great time sharing math puzzles & games with kids & parents. It was such a joyful way to kick off Spring Break & bring our community together to experience the fun side of math. Contact me if you want a math puzzle event for your group.

Our last 2025–2026 middle school math meet at Sun Ridge Middle School before the State Meet! It was worth getting up early and driving across town to spend time with these wonderful students.

Today, students and coaches from 13 high schools gathered to compete in Number Sense, Calculator Applications, General Mathematics, &Science. I’m grateful for Mr. Mike Harmon, who has helped organize math meets for over 30 years. We need community support. Who wants to help?
