Official Clarification Statement Regarding Catering Arrangements at the 1st Hong Kong Fan Meeting (August 2024) We would like to formally address recent discussions surrounding the food arrangements during the 1st Hong Kong fan meeting in August 2024. To ensure accuracy and transparency, we offer the following clarification: 1. The event was primarily organized by LingOrm HK. Per the original agreement, main meal provisions were to be handled by CP fanbases, while solo fanbases were assigned responsibility for snacks and drinks. In full accordance with this structure, Orm CN prepared only snacks and beverages. 2. One day prior to the fan meeting, Ling CN unexpectedly released a food-related poster featuring a Michelin-starred meal attributed solely to Ling, with no reference to Orm. 3. To restore balance and ensure fairness to both artists, Orm CN swiftly arranged a last-minute meal order on the day of the event, securing two full portions of each dish. These were clearly intended for LingOrm. However, due to Ling CN’s prior announcement omitting Orm’s name, and a lack of experience paired with time constraints in poster creation, Orm CN unintentionally failed to include Ling’s name on the poster. 4. We would also like to clarify that this event occurred under the previous Orm CN admin team, which was completely restructured ahead of Orm’s first Macau fan meeting in September 2024. The former team is no longer involved in any current Orm CN operations. We offer this statement not to escalate tensions, but to ensure the facts are understood in their full context. While we have refrained from public comment out of respect, the persistent misinterpretations surrounding this incident have affected the integrity of our team and our efforts.
