@RohanJivanAFC I don’t think it makes any sense tbh, but people have their valid reasons. Would prefer White as RCB for build up and progression, and the new defender to be a RB because I don’t see White playing RB long term.

Each to their own but to me, managing Saliba’s injury with a player like John Stones who is ‘injury prone’ personified doesn’t seem like the wisest call.

Don’t forget arteta overused Saliba his first season of actually using him to the point his back caved in, and then continued to repeat it every season since. It’s been so predictable for years and we’ll pay for it in the future but well done to everyone who defended it

Back injuries are unfortunately some of the worst in all sports. Can be career-ending and especially difficult to determine severity. I wish Saliba the best.

@Worrido_SK @iamolass Arteta has always played with 2 number 8s people just assume he’s a 10 because he scored a ridiculous amount of non penalty goals that one season. He’s a number 8 like Gundo and later years Silva/Cazorla. He crashes the box but doesn’t finish the chances.
