When Brunson and KAT needed help, OG showed up in the biggest way!! The London-born assassin has been a revelation in these playoffs and tonight he carried the load while everyone else was being swallowed up by the whistle. Honorable mention to @jalenbrunson1 who had 32 gritty points, 5 boards, and 5 assists in a game where the deck was stacked against him. Captain Clutch will not go quietly. Now let’s talk about the elephant in the room. The officiating in this series has been an absolute disgrace. Three straight games of this nonsense and it is getting harder and harder to ignore. Tonight the Knicks went to the line for 22 FTAs. The Spurs went for 32 FTAs. In Madison Square Garden. At HOME. 24-8 FTAs in the second half!! Brunson was called for a flagrant foul that was a clear and obvious basketball play. Wemby threw Brunson down by the neck with 2 refs staring right at him and both of those cheating pricks swallowed their whistle, the game after Wemby wrapped his arm around Alvarado’s neck and tossed him to the side. Hart got a Technical foul after getting trucked by Kornet. Wemby got a call reversed for KAT holding his arm when Wemby was holding KAT’s other arm. All the while, the Knicks couldn’t buy a call in the paint. At some point the NBA needs to look in the mirror because the product is being tarnished.
