It's time for my annual trip to Central London with Y7 for wreath laying. We've seen the sights of the city, experienced the tube, filled an entire escalator, and found out about Westminster Abbey and the link with the schools history! @qmgs1554

And now kids are cooking their own soup for dinner. Seemed like a good idea when we wrote the plan.....😭😭 @qmgs1554

Today has been a back to basics day. We did some biology, maths and art in the woodlands. PE on the beach.... @qmgs1554

Beautiful weather in Wales today! Visit to Harlech Castle and the slate caverns, with the inevitable lunch on a beach! @qmgs1554

We did some physics about the water balanced cliff railway on our way into @centre_alt_tech for some geography this morning @qmgs1554

7S enjoying their stay at Farchynys. A walk and Geocache yesterday. The apprentice slate miners from this morning are now practicing on the beach, whilst the tacticians make scale models to plan their assault on Harlech Castle this afternoon! @qmgs1554

There's a distinct Christmas feel in the woodland @farchynys today! And strangely quiet (or it was till I started clearing paths with the brushcutter....)

Many thanks to @wabbey for our service and your great tour today. We're not quite sure whether the y7 students or @QM1554 A-level history student learnt more today!

Off to London today for the @QMGS1554Alumni Wreath Laying ceremony at @wabbey. Successfully negotiated getting 50 Y7 kids onto two trains so far! Already found 1 student who's never been on a train before. #outdoorlearning @qmgs1554
