Here's the first actual gameplay of Barbog's HOTLY ANTICIPATED NEXT GAME.
This is a game idea I've had for a really long time and I'm excited to finally work on it thanks to how good AI has gotten. It's done everything from the code to art to even the music and sound effects. It's all very impressive.
The core concept of the game I'm working on is that you have a station made up of 1x1 nodes, you go through sectors buying blueprints and upgrading it as you make your way to the final encounter. The game starts with small scale interceptor combat but I hope to grow it to full on fleet scale battles with all sorts of classes of ships. I'm trying to make the game more of a simulation battle than one that you directly control. You can't give direct orders to ships, but the AI should be tuned to seek out its combat encounters with you giving them rally points.
Since this is one of my own personal ideas that I've been dreaming about for a long time, hopefully this time I stick it through and actually complete the game. This is all running in the browser and I hope to ship a playable prototype soon!

There is literally no reason other than operating systems sucking for a 10 year old thinkpad to not be able to boot into a working desktop environment in 3 seconds. It's not graph enough, dependencies exist implicitly and OSes play it safe by depending on bloated run conditions.
