Breaking News: Israel passed a law that allows for the hanging of Palestinians convicted of deadly attacks. Critics say it likely won't be applied to Jewish extremists convicted of similar crimes. nyti.ms/4m8yeQI

@rtenews @Grahamhammer80 Dont commit lethal attacks and you ll be grand. I think its a very fair law and good deterrent. We should have a similar one in Ireland.

NEW: FIFA rejects calls to ban Israel: "Should take no action given that, in the context of the interpretation of the relevant provisions of the FIFA Statutes, the final legal status of the West Bank remains an unresolved & highly complex matter under public international law"

so, @CAF_Online is so corrupted that: the referee is not sovereign anymore (he replayed the game after 12 minutes, validated #morocco's penalty, validated #senegal's goal, and ended the game), and @FIFAcom has tried everything to give morocco the trophy. africa is ridiculised. #afcon #can2027

I find it difficult to keep a bag full of empty bottles in my apartment just to get €8 back when I drive 10 minutes to Tesco every two weeks. Even if, 3 times the machine was not working. Also I can’t possibly just keep every bottle with me I use until I reach home. The system is just another tax that benefits. Now the bin collection companies are increasing prices because they have less recyclable bottles! Irish politicians cease Any chance to take away money from people.

Europe and India are making history today. We have concluded the mother of all deals. We have created a free trade zone of two billion people, with both sides set to benefit. This is only the beginning. We will grow our strategic relationship to be even stronger.

@eoinyk Because all that wealth is not .. wealth. Just IP and offshoring money that adds no value.

Ireland's GDP per capita is apparently over €81,000. Estonia's GDP per capita is apparently €30,500. Estonia has 100% digitised medical records. Ireland has 25% digitised records - worst in the EU. What's the point in having all this wealth if we don't invest in health?

There is nothing positive in renting a 2 bedroom apartment for €3,000 per month, a metro that barely works, buses always late, and traffic that makes you spend 30 minutes to go 4km or less, in a city so gentrified that no one find something fun to do during a weekend, Christmas, holidays. The only thing that functions well is the airport and that’s it

Dublin has been crowned the 9th most liveable city in the world! Cities were ranked on factors like security, political stability, air quality, healthcare, housing, infrastructure & recreation. Dublin has challenges, like every other city, but let's celebrate the positives 🇮🇪🎉

What happened today in Silwan in East Jerusalem is unbelievable. A family had their home unjustly condemned by the municipality. Hours before a scheduled discussion between the city prosecutor and the residents' attorney—an eleventh-hour meeting that might have spared thirteen families from losing everything—the bulldozers were already on their way to Silwan. The families woke to the sound of fists and steel at 4:30 a.m., police and city-hired contractors forcing their way through doors in the dark, ordering everyone out. There was shouting and chaos in the narrow stairwells as residents begged for time to collect their belongings. Instead, they were told: Take only your money and gold. The rest—clothes, photographs, children’s toys, lifetimes of furniture and mementos—was left behind. If that isn't bad enough, the evicted family was attacked, by individuals working for teh city as contractors. They threw stones at neighbors and physically assaulting a man who tried to protest. The police came to break it up but only arrested Arabs, of course. The building’s four stories, where thirteen families had tried for years to earn a permit and build a future, were reduced to rubble. Those who beat them as they lost everything went home happy while those who tried to defend them were arrested. An apartheid state.

Ireland has been the only EU country to provide old-age pension, currently around €278 per week to Ukrainian refugees. Ukrainian refugees in Ireland who receive the Irish State Pension can continue receiving their Ukrainian old-age pension alongside it, about €130 per month.

A Palestinian man weeps helplessly as Israeli regime bulldozers demolish his family’s home in Silwan, occupied Jerusalem - razing a building that was home to 11 Palestinian families. Ethnic cleansing in broad daylight and with full Western support.

Ireland did NOT sign up to be ruled by an unaccountable Brussels superstate. The EEC was sold to voters as simple trade and economic cooperation not a federal empire that strips nations of their sovereignty and ignores the will of the people.
