I find one of the most difficult parts of parenting to be the sensory over load. We get out of school, have 12 minutes to get to ballet. I’m doing 60mph, it’s pouring down with rain, the radio is on, my windscreen is fogging up and the fans are blowing. Florence wants to know why there’s a ‘K’ in knew. 🫠

Drying some cows off on maternity break today. @DeLaval_UK_IRE desktop SCC machine helping make selective dry cow therapy decisions. SCC <180 teat sealer, >181 standard a/b. Helping reduce a/b usage further. 2022 figure was 6.5mg/kg PCU. Target under 5 for 2023. 🌱🌿🌾🐄🤖🧀

@farmerJames Still more moisture up here. Different soil. Been good weather for planting and slurry, but not 1 day suitable for pre-emergence since planting. I think maize with be out of the ground before we get the chance.

Learning slowly about this weather station we have. I take it the high soil Moisture figure means the land has dried rapidly from 2 weeks ago where it was a 1!
