The Torque Drill — Learn to Swing with Direction Too many hitters spin off, pull away, or yank the barrel around the body. This drill fixes that. The Torque Drill teaches hitters how to: ✅ Load around the back leg ✅ Deliver the swing down the line of the pitch — not across it ✅ Build torque without spinning off or collapsing posture How it works: 1️⃣ The hitter starts facing sideways, toes pointed toward the pitcher 2️⃣ They turn the hips back 3️⃣ From there, they fire the swing out and through the line of the pitch — not around their body 4️⃣ The goal is to feel the hands and legs work together toward the same target This drill is simple — but powerful.
